Placing an Order

When you are ready to place your order, sign in using your unique username and password, and click on the Place an Order link. This will take you to your shopping cart screen, showing all the current specials we are running.

  • Above the Specials box, you will see the delivery dates we offer for your CSA. You can select multiple dates by holding the control key down to create a standing order.
  • Below the specials there is a dropdown menu of all the products we offer.
  • When you select the product you are interested in, please wait a moment for the screen to refresh, and the products in that category will be shown below the specials. They are alphabetized by Category and then by Cut.
  • When you have found the item you want, you can change the quantity or write in special notes (e.g. ‘looking for a 5 lb roast’ or ‘smallest available’), and then click on the ADD link. The page will refresh and you will see the item added to your shopping cart.
  • When all your shopping is done, click on the ‘Check Out’ button and you will be directed to review your order and add any other notes or questions, and then you must click ‘Complete My Order.’
  • You will receive an email confirmation with an estimated total a few minutes after placing your order. If you do not receive one, please contact us to confirm, as your order may not be placed.

Paying for Your Order

When you complete your order, you will get an email confirmation with an estimated total, based on the average weights of the items you ordered.

The night before delivery, when your goods have been packed in your bag, you will get an actual invoice with the total of items packed specifically for you.

If you selected the Paypal option when filling in your Member Info, this link will be included in your actual invoice. Otherwise, you can bring a check to the distribution site, payable to ‘CSA Lewis Waite Farm.’

Picking up Your Order

We work hard to get your goods to your distribution site before you get there!

Site coordinators will have a list of everything you ordered.

  • Meat arrives frozen in a bag with your name on it.
  • Cheese and eggs are individually labeled and kept chilled.
  • Dried goods, jam, honey, and syrup are individually labeled and then packed together, to lessen the chance for mix-ups.

Please be sure to pick up all your items.

Happy Eating!!

About the farm

Lewis Waite Farm, located in beautiful Washington County, offers a variety of food that will complement your vegetable share this season. Here on our 450 acre family run farm we raise 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef and natural, pastured pork.

We also work with about 20 different farms in the area, acting as a central drop point for local farms to distribute to CSAs and buying clubs. For CSAs, we coordinate our drop off with your vegetable pick-up before your distribution. We welcome calls (518.692.3120) and emails (nkdbrown@lewiswaitefarm.com) with questions!
